NHS Pharmacy First Service

Pharmacy First is a free NHS service that allows people to receive advice, assessment, and treatment for seven common conditions directly from a local pharmacy, without needing a GP appointment. The service helps residents access care more quickly, while also reducing pressure on GP surgeries and hospitals.

Healthwatch West Berkshire are currently running a short, anonymous survey (around 5 minutes) to understand:

• How aware local residents are of Pharmacy First
• Whether they have used the service
• What could be improved locally

Community feedback is essential to ensure health services in West Berkshire are accessible, well-understood, and meet local needs.
